Its because of the golden extended mag on my ar. When you have a gun in your hand which is equipped with a golden extended mag it will reload your second weapon after a few seconds.

If you have a melee/knife in your hand and press shoot and while the animation is going on press on kinetic at the same time it will use your kinetic while you can run with full speed but don't change weapon/open doors or anything best is to wait until kinetic is used
