Solo Wild Camping In A Small Tent! We got a new toy - Intex Excursion equipped with a trolling motor to make getting up and down the river easy! Once we arrive at our river side camp, I set up the Vango Nevis 100 for the first time - putting it through its paces! For dinner - Ready To Eat Field Ration from Ration-X.

I have the nevis 200 ,and love it ,it's past rain test many times aswell and hasn't let me down so far in a year, and nice and warm in the winter, the only little thing I don't like is the colour but I've found that a camo net hides it quite well when I'm in stealth mode ,or and another great video buddy, I love watching your ups and downs, that's wot makes it so watchable, because we all have fails and achievements

Hey Harry, glad to hear you've had success with the Nevis 200! I'm awaiting some rain to get it out there but I'm not expecting it to fail whatsoever. Like you, I'm not thrilled with the colour, it's a little too bright for me but it makes up for it in regards to everything else. Hey Lenord, I am indeed coming to Scotland. I'm keeping my eye on the forecast at the moment as I'm hoping for some decent weather. I don't mind camping in the rain, I actually love camping in the rain but..the forecast for my Scottish destination has rain for the next 10 days and that's a little excessive for my needs at the moment 😂 waiting for that sun to appear and I'll be on my way 👍

So you're not too far from where I'm headed, stopping at Fort William again but may be headed up to Fort Augustus also. Good to know about you missing the rain, I know from experience you can't put too much faith in the forecast

I'm round about 5'10" 5'11" and could sit up directly in the middle of the tent leaving very little headroom though 👍

😂😂😂 Awful dinner we had a ration dinner called Rarotongan Beef 🥩 it was fowl 😂😂😂 and we had a couple of lads from Raro and they said they never saw cows there 😂😂😂 was it Rarotongan Rat perhaps 😂😂😂

Don’t worry bro I’ve done worse than arse up tit in the mud 😂 I jumped off a old railway bridge broke my damn foot in three places and had to walk 6.5kms to the feckin road 😂😂😂 broken foot in all 😂😂😂

@@TreeDeepOutdoors I was never much of a drinker I know most soldiers are tho 😂 I ended up getting a infection in the bone marrow most probably due to me waking 6+Kms on it and every 8-12 months it would flare up only got it fixed in 2016 after a 6 week stay in hospital on IV antibiotics I endured it over 20 years 😂
