Hi Chris, just ignore negativity from idiots whom have no soul or sense of personal adventure. I am an inner city kid who joined the army at 16 and was given the skills to appreciate and love the outdoors. I am now 59 and can honestly say that I get great peace from wild camping plus now my son really enjoys it too. Your videos reflect that peace and manage to demonstrate kit and techniques in very professional manner. Remember though it’s about you and what you get out of it keep up the good work.

Love that magical wall. Lovely video. I've camped twice where rain gushed through my tents (pre brand tents), air mattresses floating inside! Once in a beautiful lush low spot (aka gully, not my decision; once in another lovely greened spot that, as it turns out, was a wash (my decision). Rain is uncomfortable, but my worst hike was all damn day in a heavy mist on a trail with no offer of pull off spots. Not even to sit and catch my breath! Respect! I'm 70 yo, with bad knees and back but your videos make me want to camp/hike again. Really nothing like it, is there.

I must complement you Chris. That drone footage from around 22:00 minutes onwards is absolutely beautiful (where you slowly sweep upwards from an overhead shot of Pendle Hill with the clouds gently moving past, to a more panoramic view of the surrounding area which extends for miles). The addition of the music then brought it to a whole other level. It was perfect in tone, reflective, somewhat sad and seemed to fit the character of such a wonderful landscape.

Great video, atmospheric, if not a little spooky. Well said about the trolls, some people have nothing better to do. Lots of good tips, well done!

I was surprised at how it turned out! Just standard settings, on landscape at 2.7K - nice bit of grain in the footage. It's true what they say, it's all in the light..... Get decent footage at source, post can only do so much 👍

Really enjoyed the video, thanks. I really admire you solo wild camping, I have done solo but on a site so yet to experience it. Kinda nervous, well done for taking on the witches and myths, that would have scared the livin daylights out of me. I liked the idea of the tarp, I have a Vango Nevis 100, my first tent and it would make sense to have some outside shelter like you did. Well done, fab filming, looking forward to seeing more....

Thanks Paul, there are a fair few in the back catalogue if you're interested! As for going solo, my advice is - don't over think, just get out and have a go - maybe not on a haunted hillside first though. ATB and thank you for your comment.
