Another great outdoor video,no yapping,no background music,pure sound of nature.

The short scene at 16:07 is absolutely beautiful. The lighting, contrasting colors, composition, depth of field, textures, leading lines, subject matter, relaxing sounds... everything. Nicely done! I could watch an entire hour of just that.

The forest draws me in. I find in him the same charm as in the mountains, but he is more calm and friendly. The forest does not have such an extent as large mountain ranges, it quickly closes and contains a microuniverse that isolates a person as reliably as desert spaces. A whole world of herbs, flowers, fungi and insects leads an independent life there, into which we can only be accepted if we show patience and humility. After walking through the forest for several tens of meters, you forget about the outside world, one universe is replaced by another, less pleasant to look at, but more attractive to hearing and smelling. Goods that were considered lost are being revived: silence, freshness, peace. Proximity with the plant world grants what the sea now denies us and for which the mountains make us pay too high a price.

I ordered a gstove back in January and they could not deliver for 10 and a half months so I canceled the order this last weekend and Monday ordered a large Winnerwell Nomad with water tank and folding oven. *nagualero* Great videos! A little tip you may already know: a little wood ash mixed with water in a paste will clean the soot right off that stove glass in seconds...dry the little piece of clothing you used to wipe it with and it becomes a great firestarter.

The lid doesn’t come with the pot, it’s from an old kettle. It fitted so I use it. I also drilled holes in the pot and added the old kettle bail in it. The link is for the pot and sauce pan only

Another great video. Your scene composition and mastery of light, sound, background, and subject framing is truly an art form. Reminds me of the movie "Jermiah Johnson" starring Robert Redford that was shot in the pristine wilderness of NE Utah back in the 1970s, and like most of your videos, required very litte dialogue to convey the script and plot to the viewer. Obviously it was "freezing ass" cold out there as conveyed by the trembling of your normally calm and steady hands during the meal prep and cook. No acting required there! There was no thermometer in the video to provide us viewers a reference persective, but your shaky hands clearly showed us American Yanks that it was bitterly cold outside (10 degrees Fahrenheit) even though there was no snow or frost on the ground or steam exhaust from your lungs to make that more apparent. You truly have the most artistic KZbin videos I've ever watched, and you could be in Hollywood making big money as a scene scripter and cinematographer......if they were still making movies that were art instead of artifice out there. Keep up the great work!

Man i love those frost river packs. Question- have you been able to find a way that works for you to comfortably carry your load outs? Thinking of pulling the trigger on one but see all kinds of horror stories on how uncomfortable it is. I know its a traditional style pack with out a frame. But looks like you are using a sit pad or something inside to give it a little structure? Great video as always, definitely one of my favorite channels.
@NagualeroArt6 жыл бұрын
Alwaways confortable, but yes, I have a closed cell mat and a small plywood board for structure. Works for me.
