Very cool. I often go to Mew Lake with my golden retriever. I have the LUX Megahorn teepee. I’m planning a trip in 2 weeks. Can’t wait. 👍

My son and I are heading up to hot tent camp at Mew Lake in Nov and Dec. we love it. Don’t see to many women winter camping so good for you. Ps love your dog!

Once I saw the moose you got the thumbs up 👍, that’s great! I’ve seen so many moose snowmobiling and once I started making videos, I don’t see them and the two times I did I couldn’t get the camera out fast enough. Really nice. Nice set up and cute doggie 🐶

That’s awesome that your dogs name is Venus too! I use a Woods Powerlite camping cot. It’s super light, packs small, and durable.

i think the rivers are way nicer to view in the winter. I did my first winter camp last week. sort of a fail. 3 season tent. spent the week trying to figure out how to do it right to go back in. I wish I had a dog for these trips. Never been to Mew Lake but I've been looking at it for the last 2 years for the yurts. I couldn't get a booking there last week so I figured the place would be packed. beautiful area I see.

I bought some at the park, and there is also a wood stand on the way there with nice dry wood.
