Hi - Nicely done. 👍🏻 I, too, am a solo RVer (with my 10-year-old adopted daughter). We have an '84 Class C, and we love it. I am now subscribed and will follow your adventures. Stay safe. 😊

A couple of things. We carry an adjustable crescent. That really helps with stubborn water connections. Also stand back and check the roof. Make sure all antennas are down and stowed. I didn't see any wheel chocks. You definitely need a set of those. You want to make sure if something happens you don't roll anywhere. As a general contractor for 45 years please! Always turn the breaker off first. If you straighten out your hose first it will coil much easier and faster. Make sure all interior cabinet doors are latched. The shower door is latched and the refrigerator is locked too.

A med size crescent wrench should be in that compartment for you to use on put on and take off. Will be much easier😀 also you should not have to “wiggle” your connections like you are. Are your threads bent? I'm just saying and I may not know much about RV however I grew up in a 40’ trailer traveling wherever a damn was going to be built and my papa did not have a son so I was the helper! Love your show!
@SimplyDandeАй бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll do that. I'm also adding a quick connect to the RV inlet so I don't stress the connection more than I have to.

Always keep the ends of your hoses and water fill connections covered or capped so bugs and don't crawl in for a drink.

Just a suggestion- you may find it far easier to coil the hose if, periodically,you first uncoil the hose fully effectively straightening it out - then coil for storage 😊

Nice footage setting up and packing up! Don't like the mouse footage though because yes, even that breaks my heart! I like your kitty tee shirt and I love the kitty footage. I love cats. I have two! And yes you are the "Power Lady" from Lulus NH Meetup! Thanks for the clarity on power and, nice rig also!......Perhaps you might start another channel on power and call it "The Power Lady" or just include power on this one! Everyone always wants clarity on power lingo and its meanings, as well as recommendations for power stations and what wattage you might need...... Melanie from NH!

Good to see you here! Yes, I'm the Power Lady from Lulu's. :) I will make a video about that for sure! Sorry the mouse video had that effect on you. I'll have to get some of the live traps next time I'm at the store.

You may not have drained all the water out of the water hose itself because the water pressure regulator was still connected to the hose. It can act as a constriction, not allowing all the water out. I did not gravity drain a water filter and when the freezing temperatures came the filter housing cracked open. Those water regulators can also freeze if water is left inside the regulator.
@SimplyDandeАй бұрын
Thanks, I hadn't thought of that! Makes sense why our pressure regulator wouldn't work last spring and had to be replaced.
