I swear, there is a diminishing return on stars. i feel like 15+ star people start getting worse and worse with the god the more they play.

I can attest. Just played with an Ao Kuang with 2600 games played, 700+ hours, next god was 6 games played. Guy wasn’t finishing items like in League, was solo pushing in solo lane at 25min getting 4 man ganked. He was Spanish and couldn’t read any of the chat from the team saying group up or anything. Luckily we won cuz Ix Chel OP

You have to be good at Smite not a character. Religiously playing one character makes you worse at the game because you don't get the exposure of different matchups. The best way to learn characters is to play them, which you aren't doing spamming a meme every game.

That is true, i've seen so many ppl with a shitload of stars that just play bad, worst decision making you can imagine - probably also blaming the team but i have perma muted everyone a long time ago xD

Red buff is the best buff once you’ve got decent power. First red is pointless. Much better to get 3 buffs and avoid red for the first time.

Sacrificing the red buff and getting the other 3 levels the team faster, which in joust gets you to unlock the ultimate faster. 😎

Personally, i think thebes is a lot better in joust. Thebes is much, much easier to stack. Often, prophetic doesn't even finish stacking by the time the game mode is over. Just go thebes and emp and you never die, and will likely gain a solid lead, because you're tankier early/mid game.

yea and I'd say because there is usually only 1 magic or 1 physical damager depending on comp it makes getting stacks on one of those really hard. You'll hit 15 of whatever they have 2 of. If the odd one out is squishy and your dmgers are on point they die before you can get more then one proc off.

purple is an aura buff in joust right? so its best early plus you usually get free blue steal. Then you have safer blue since last buff is on your side.
