Better to start with 2. More damage? Check. Gives protections? Check. 1 is overall okay to max first but it's definitely better to at least start with 2.

1 has a much lower cooldown and much longer range, it's better and has more dps overall-especially in the jungle where you don't get anything from the protections

@@distraction2803 at level 1, you are not looking for either of the things you mentioned. Jungle monsters hit hard currently and your 2 comes up by the time you go to the blue. Faster clear, less damage taken. I say it's a win win. And you are mostly trying to engage with your 1 and 2 both up generally, but honestly I am yet to try out "Maxing" 2 first but feels equally good to maxing 1 first if not better, theoretically. It just makes you more bursty and tankier.

@@astralstriker Unless you're being an idiot the only hard-hitting camp is red and once you're level 2 it doesn't matter. The 1 will be up in time to throw at blue from a distance while the 2 is close range, which can allow you to get to mid faster. The damage difference is minute considering the 2 takes longer to cast and you can aa a couple times after the 1. It doesn't matter too much considering you'll get the other one at lvl 2 regardless.

@@astralstriker The higher your rank is the more standard it is to start blue. If they don't, then you get to use your 1 twice which is definitely more damage. Let me just clarify that by "being an idiot" I meant "standing completely still to tank speed buff" and "not using an AoE on blue's spirit minions," in which case the camps will do some damage.

Leveling the 2 after the 1 is significantly stronger than leveling the 3 not only for additional damage but additional protections per target hit up to 5. This includes minions.

I think he built the stacking items because Chaacs damage falls of with the late game and so bloodforge didn't offer enough value. But bloodforge passive is OP 30 minutes into a conquest game.

@@Super12212012 So he built a stacking item, in jungle, that has 45 less power, 12 minutes into the game, because his damage falls off. He finished stacking at 19 minutes, and now-congratulations! He has 10 less power than he would've had 6 minutes ago, and like 15% more lifesteal... On an ability-based character, with built-in self-sustain and no crit or attack speed, instead of a 600 hp shield every time you get a kill. *V e r y c o o l*
