What we all really want is edge retetntion test. Nitrox steel is good on paper but hardness 55 HRC is quite low when Nitrox can go up to 62 HRC. Why maker choosed so low hardness and how such a low hardness afected edge retention? With hardness let's say 60 HRC nitrox should be in VG10 level but with 55 HRC edge retention will be about 1/3. Most likely.

The tests I have done have proven to be perfect. If you are going to try to break the edge, you will break it. For the normal use of a knife, Nitrox steel holds up well. At the price it is going for, the type of edge is almost 40% of its strength and its good use another 30%, the rest is the steel in my opinion. Thanks for commenting, Greetings ！！😆👍

@@MakenrowEDC I was talking about edge retention only, not a word about toughness. Edge retention us priority in my opinion. Nitrox steel edge retention is much better with higher hardness, that was my point.
