I love these megas, especially the new design elements you added! A lot of fan-megas I've seen have just been "bigger" "more spikes" "more claws" but you took the Pokemons origins and brought it to the logical extreme, while adding some new fitting inspirations! Dude, I love Mega Hisuian Typhlosion. I really wish it was real. If you do more of these videos, I’d love to see both Hisuian Decidueye and regular Decidueye get Mega forms, along with the two Samurotts. Regular Typhlosion was already given a Mega form in a couple fan games that I thought fit with Typhlosion already

Like how FRLF are Remakes of Red and Blue with more stuff in them, added combat features as well as the Dark and Steel Typing added. That is what a remake is

Just had an idea for a custom art video, if you want to explore the concept: custom Convergent Species. Just like how Diglett and Wiglett are two different Pokémon that happen to resemble each other, what if you made a few more Pokémon that resemble current Pokémon but have different types. One I'd like to see in the video is a species that is similar to Charmander's line, but with the first two forms being pure Ice and the final form being Ice/Dragon

YES! I was thinking the same thing! I would love to see the kinds of things he'd come up with for more convergent forms. Diglett/Wiglett and Tentacool/Toedscool are both gen 1 variants, so I'd love to see some gen 2s. Maybe land-dwelling Chinchou and Lanturn? They don't get much love. Or maybe Snubull/Granbull that are actually vicious? A gen 1-slash-2 that I think would be cool is a convergent Smoochum/Jynx to just give that thing SOME kind of redemption lmfao

i feel like the names for the mega stones for at least the alolan forms would match more closely to how the Z-Crystals are named, ex: Alosandsite, Alopersite, with "Alo" for a regional prefix like in Raichu's Z-Crystal name, Aloraichium-Z

In terms of stats, actually no Mega Evolutions increase the HP stat, although that trend could easily be broken if Game Freak ever revisits Mega Evolution -- they've broken trends before. All of these designs are really cool! I think my favorite is either Mega Galarian Slowbro or Mega Alolan Sandslash... but seriously, I love all of them.

Since you didn't mention abilities... Mega Alolan Sandslash: Either Refrigerate or Ice Scales. One taps into the theme that it's cold is overpowering other types, turning Normal moves into Ice ones. The other effectively doubles it's Special Defense stat. Mega Alolan Persian: Fur Coat. An ability Alolan Persian already gets, but some Mega Evolutions don't change the ability. Mega Galarian Slowbro: Anger Shell. This Gen 9 ability seems to be the only offense-focused shell-based ability, so it's a perfect counterpart to regular Mega Slowbro's Shell Armor. Mega Sirfetch'd: Grassy Surge. To make it's grassy debut all the grander, and beef up Grassy Glide. Mega Kleavor: Sheer Force. Mega Scizor uses one of Scizor's natural abilities, it's fair to give Kleavor the same treatment. Mega Hisuian Typhlosion: Perhaps some all-new ability that makes it's burns do gradually increasing damage like Toxic.

Looking back at this video for fun, but how would dropping the steel type from mega alolan sandlash help it defensively? Pure ice types only resist one type (ice), while an ice/steel type would resist 8 types (ice is quad resisted). If you drop the steel type, it's only being made worse defensively.

I'm actually not usually big on Fakemon, but if I feel like the franchise is actually missing anything, it's Mega Galarian Slowbro. GO has both Mega Slowbro and Galarian Slowbro, so not having that overlap genuinely does feel like a gap. As a side, I can't speak much to competitive play, but I can say for certain that Grass/Fighting is a good type combo, evidenced by Chesnaught.

I just started the video and I noticed one problem right off the bat: Mega Evolution never changes the base HP. You have to work with what the Pokémon already has in base form. I assume this was to avoid having to do the math regarding current HP. Otherwise, this is quite interesting.
