How many hours do you have into SM2 at this point? Your vids are insane Also, the feeling of having 20% health left but 80% contested and then getting all of it plus 3 armor nodes back off a single gun strike is unmatched

We can actually see here that the thunderhammer kind of struggles with landing hits on the HT because its first light is so slow. While guardsman didnt try to use his heavy here (which is understandable), it would have been the better play (if he ONLY wanted damage, and with no regards to safety etc) when there are three stacks of AR. You could see that most of the damage was from gunstrikes, and if not, ground pound. He barely gets a chance to throw the hammer when AR is in effect. This is even more disconterting when you see that with the vanguard, he was able to do a lot more attacks during the smallet openings that the TH simply dont have the luxury of. I think perhaps something should be changed to compensate for the THs slow speed (if not just change the speed of the 1st light). Give it hyper armour by default, or increase the forward momentum so we can space better (ironically the follow ups have very good forward momentum). Or better yet, increase the cHP recovery on the lights.

@WalterSobchak91 i use it a lot and it is my favourite melee weapon. It does have issues thats also shared with the powerfist, which is a slow heavy that doesnt immediately create room. Knife, chainsword, PS dont have this issue, at least not as much. You will know when its often so much easier to regain cHP when using the knife and the chainsword, with the hammer unless youre losing hp during the attack you can rarely regain your chp back efficiently.

If youre new use chainsword. The knife is just as good though as long as you know how to avoid whirlwind slash.

@@sturmmagnunstein1008 it is not just as good, it completely lacks the contested health regen/horde clear of the chainsword and has far worse animations+the chainsword has a combo skip for even more damage.

default, only keys I have changed are zoom to Z and aiming to mouse 5
