It kills me to say this. I've heard this set multiple times and this set was garbage..it is not the type of sound that made him famous, zero feeling. Just some tech house / techno tracks that if you listen carefully had no business on a main stage festival. He's the type of DJ that needs more than 1 hour clearly and I don't understand why he didn't come out with his usual melodic techno sound. I understand he isn't meant for main stage but either don't take the gig or try to adjust. Worst part is the people who don't know solomun would think this is his usual style which is incorrect

the set is very good for main stage, all the tracks he played there he played already in his past sets, Solomun is quite good because has big range in terms of electronic music and is not narrow profiled . He plays trancy, tech, prog house style etc together , that's why his sets are fruitful . Last week played for smaller audience his typical set but I would not recommend this kind of musici to main stage as well ,, Mainstage is for music which contains a lot energy. and the selection of the tracks he made fits perfectly there

Solomun has an amazing feel to really capture the audience. As a contrast, numerous other well known djs just don't seem to hit the right notes to elevate my mood. A good example is Carl Cox who is being regarded by many as one of the founders of today's techno and house scene but I still find him repetitive and predictable.
