Without any exception, every time I've seen Kalista against me toplane I just wanted to ff15. It's the worst. Absolute worst matchup. There is no fun. There is no chance of winning lane. The best option is to just sit right under tower and pick up whatever farm you get, and be happy about it. And what makes it the worst above all, Kalista tops are GOOD at what they do. They know how to fuck you up if you even try to get cs. Just give up and hug that tower like it's your mom on her birthday, because you're not getting anything from lane worth mentioning until the Kalista leaves you alone.

There's a certain type of dread you feel fighting Kalista as you're just watching those spears stack up. If you're going to fight her, you have to all in her because she gets the most amazing burst of damage at the end of every single fight.

@@DustySquitoNMnow that you mention it, I would start off 1-for-1 and it was a constant struggle to exist in lane but as long as I just went all in from the start I stood a chance. Only problem, Im still not familiar with kalista's kit. I just know lots of spears = dead, and an angry floating head is there for some reason. So I eventually lose engagements and it snowballs to drastically losing lane.

I think its really interesting how mike constantly says you should punish the ranged top laner who constantly pushes and then gets surprised when he gets ganked 64 times when he does exactly that lol

He doesnt exaclty say its a bad move from brand but it is frustrating. And brand didnt really punish him. Most ganks failed. Like every player knows killing the opponent is good but when the enemy kills you than you dont like it.
