Good info, and well-timed! Now that Japan has opened up again, I think a lot of people may be planning a trip to Tokyo and find this quite useful. I, on the other hand, LIVE in Japan and haven’t been to Tokyo in like 7 years. 😆 (I think a trip may be overdue…) Anyway, it looks like a pretty decent place to spend the night. 🍻

(Solo-san has taken at least a dozen cost-effective trips to/from Tokyo on this channel, it really is a great resource!) Happy travels, internet acquaintance!
@ReyOfLight2 жыл бұрын
That looked like great value for the price! It wasn’t a small capsule, more like a tiny room with common facilities. But at least you had more than just a bed and tv like at least I associate with capsule hotels when I hear the word. Here you had a little desk area and more space than just the bed. With it including ramen as well, definitely a good price for that size room in a huge city like Tokyo.

"Expensive". The last time I stayed in a $35 hotel room was about 23 years ago, motel-hopping with a coupon book in a new city waiting for my apartment to be ready. My ritual involved checking the sheets, checking the tub, and checking behind all the paintings and mirrors for cameras. This looks like heaven by comparison.
@nickryan34172 жыл бұрын
Did you find any cameras worth taking or just bed bugs?
@satinbubbles2 жыл бұрын
I was JUST thinking of something along those lines! $35/n for safety, cleanliness, & privacy is something I'd drool over. This place is 3&4 star compared to US options in that price range
@chinguunerdenebadrakh7022 Жыл бұрын
This is most likely in reference to relative low price of capsule hotels. They're extremely cheap as they literally just build a space for one person to sleep in and stack it. IIRC it can be 10$, so 35$ is expensive for that model of housing.
@Haneynozuka Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure where they got the price bc all i find online is minimum 95$ per night :/

I really enjoy your quiet videos. This "capsule" hotel is very nice- for an American where the little pods would be claustrophobic, I could easily stay in a place like this.
