That's a great point, but let's not forget that the Duke 390 is a 373cc bike going up against a 650cc machine, and the fact that it can even come close speaks volumes about KTM's engine efficiency. The single-cylinder Duke is still holding its ground despite the power disadvantage, which shows just how potent KTM's engineering is. Plus, with the Gen 3 Duke 390 now boasting 399cc, there's a good chance it might tip the scales in its favor when it comes to competing with the Goldstar. So while the Goldstar lives up to its legendary name, the Duke is proving that raw power isn't everythingi ts's all about how well you use it!

It's not surprising when you mention that despite not being a parallel twin, it's still faster. Just for context, single-cylinder engines are actually known for having more powerful acceleration compared to parallel twins, especially when it comes to initial pickup. I have purchased one Goldstar 650 on 21St Sept . It's a lovely motorcycle . Feels planted , strong and very stable . I don't intend to drag race or something with it . I would be keeping it between 90 and 60 km / h ..for comfort riding .
