Ohhhhhh so cool 😎🤘🤙 so stoked your doing this. I call it emotional metal. Those chords just stroke a different way. Like you said, you almost have to take your decomposer ears off to step back and really appreciate it. So much to unpack. It takes a while for the song it pick up the pace but you're right, it's very pulling and emotional. Very different. One of my favorites. Mahalo my friend.

Wow, this probably the first channel I see reacting to Sólstafir. That's really cool. I don't listen to them very often, but when I do it's always entrancing. The song that got me into them is Djákninn, a song that I adore to this day.

Hey Gdebz, big fan from the UK! I think it'd be cool if you reacted to Alexisonfire - Sharks and Danger. They're a band featuring two singers and they seamlessly mix soft and heavy metal together. They're a truly unique band.

This is a cool find I'm going to have to check them out. If you're taking any suggestions I highly recommend checking out "Nero di marte- semicirchi". They're a very underrated Italian avant-garde post metal band and I don't think anyone has yet reacted to them.

Cool pick of a Solstafir song, think Fjara is a more common one and would be really cool if you checked it out. Was lucky enough to be at a place where they were playing live and it's a real experience how people just seem to ?vibe? to it? Not sure how to describe it but just standing there and feeling the music, each in their own way was incredible.

Totally out of the genre here, but it just hit me that you haven't done any Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. I would recommend "You Know You Wrong" from the album Save My Soul. So upbeat and charismatic! Love their vibe, and I think you will, too!

5:38 Gummi, the former drummer of the band you can hear here, often uses a lot of experimentation on how he plays the drums - while usually using sticks he mixed in brushes and even his hands sometimes - in some review of a live performance the journalist remarked that he played a stick in one hand and a brush in the other at one point.

Fantastic band - and this is their best album - sorry sequels. Also ,Addy, the singer / rhythm guitarist uses a hand held vibrato box that he sometimes uses - where it's held against the strings over the pick-ups

Hey Geebz. Dead Letter Circus - The Design. Never seen a reactor do it, but it’s one of the most unique and haunting songs I’ve ever heard. The album it’s on, “…This is the Warning,” is one of the most innovative records of all time. Picture U2, Techno and metal drumming all together.
