Solution - Unable to Create Machine ID Error

Fix "Unable to Create Machine ID, error retrieving information." error in minutes. If any problem, mention in comments.
This error usually arrives when you are trying to Generate Machine ID after installing Intergraph Smart Plant License Manager (SPLM).

Lo desinstale todo. y agregue la tarjeta de red con una IP aleatoria. Instale el software SMPL (license machine). Ya pude generar el MachineID. Pero ahora cuando ejecuto el Keygen y el SPKeygen, ya no me muestra la ventana "Enter key". Muestra directamente la ventana " 'Intergraph Software SPLM 11.00.17'". Ya no me despliega la ventana HWID. ¿Alguien tuvo este problema ? Si ya lo resolvieron xfavor compartan. Gracias. Tengo Win 8.1 64x.

thanks it worked for me. but a new problem I gotwhen I select the "configure and test option"here "select license machine for client" what should I type in there.......I tried with xyz, Samsung, admin everytime it is showing this"invalid license machine name. license machine list was not modified"how to fix this

+Muthu Rajan Go to MY COMPUTER> Properties> . There check whats your Computer's Name and add it to License Machine for client. If that doesn't work, check your loop back adapter's ip address and add that ip address to it. It will work. Good Luck.

It worked. And machine ID was generated but the CAD WORKS didn't worked. So instead of doing all this, just connect your device with a wifi or hotspot.
