Great video, but as far as I know, dateadd will always pick a given period till the end of the month. Let's say if we chose a period in apr from apr 23 to apr 30 and computong same previous last month, the result is data in march but computing from mart 23 to mar 31 (not mar 30) is there any other solutions for this case ?

Hey, Great Video. But this dateadd function has a problem. Whenever, I select date from 21st Apr'22 - 30th Apr'22 for sum of sales, date add gives me a sum of values from 21st Mar'22 - 31st Mar'22 (End of month) Technically, I want to compare sales from 21st Apr'22 - 30th Apr'22 v/s 21st Mar'22 - 30th Mar'22 Can u please assist me a little here.

Hi there, Jan has 31 days and Feb has 28, how do you deal with this with the SPLM? Wouldn't SPLM only compare data up to 28 Jan only instead of the entire Jan.

How did you filter for the current month? My visual display is the same until I attempt to filter. I tried filter for the current month and tried filtering if the Prior Month value is greater than 0 and it keeps excluding the prior month line graph.

Thank you this helped me a lot. I did the same thing from Jan to Apr however when I filter on specific period the figures in the column SPLM disappear. Any suggestion to tackle that ?
@SolutionsAbroad2 жыл бұрын
Hi there, it's most likely because the filter context changes when you add a period filter to it. The easiest fix to this is to create the calculations as a new column, it's not the most elegant but it will fix your issue Hope it helps

Hello. Thank you for the video. It is helpful. I am seeing an issue with SPLM. If I apply the filter top 1 by the latest date I get a blank count on the card.

Hi there, does the correct value show up if you put it on a table? Perhaps its a row context issue

well, it doesn'twork if put it to a pivot table where ros are sales man and cols are some sales metrics like target, % achv and the col to see the ROLLING AMOUNT FOR THE SAME PERIOD LAST MONTH.

Hi Fernan, these are great videos. Thank you very much. I wonder is there a way to do DATEMTD but on working day, instead of calendar day For example, suppose 1 Feb 2022 is the 1st working day of Feb, same period last month of 1 Feb 2022 >> should be 2 Jan 2022, because 1 Jan is a public holiday, hence 2 Jan is the 1st working day of last month Basically, I'm looking for a way to calculate Same period last month by working days.. Hope anyone can help me here..i'm really stuck
