Thank you for the information. The same problem I am going through. But one more doubt, if I have a usb microphone(external) then I have go for another with usb compatibility instead of 3.5mm jack or else can I directly insert into the usb port of laptop and can use like plug and play. Please suggest. Hare Krishna.

Im having this issue,but what if we need to use one earphone to attend meetings and all.. we need both input and output for that earphone right..
