Thank you for the great tutorial! How can we use flow along surface for a cube or rectangular curves?
@PJChenJewelryDesign Жыл бұрын
You can. it may deform the shape but you can click rigid option to keep it not deformed.

Great tutorial! Is it possible to roll a flat surface to make scroll with this technique? I'm going to use a predefined spiral for this.
@PJChenJewelryDesign Жыл бұрын
It may deform on the pattern depend on the size, but it is possible.
@josemauricio8763 Жыл бұрын
@@PJChenJewelryDesign Thanks for the answer. That way I couldn't do it. The closest I got to the expected result was extruding the spiral and using the Squish command. After applying the desired shape over the 2D pattern, I bring it back to the spiral. Then I used the Split command. I'm trying to model a violin scroll and I'm running into some difficulties. Thanks anyway.

Thanks a lot for you video! Really helpful but I was searching for a tip that I didn’t find here, how can we keep the original design with no gap between the different parts if we do rigid yes? Is the only way posssible by record history and move them one by one? Seems to be a lot of work to do there should be something smarter to do

Great video! This might be a bit old but what would I need to do if I want to flow along curve a single surface body around a circle ? I applied the same as shown in the video but the result always stays open no matter the dimensions of my surface. Is there any way to close it?
@PJChenJewelryDesign4 ай бұрын
flow work well for patterns. If you want a single surface wrap around a circle, I would recommand sweep command
