When you’re sleepin’ my baby, You don’t know that they’ve put [A little?] screen in your brain. When you’re sleepin’ my baby, You don’t know that they’ve put [A little?] [name?/snare?/snake?/_?] in your brain. When you’re sleepin’ my baby, You don’t know they’re watching you, With your life [?] back through their screen. When you’re sleepin’ my baby, Your action, your thought, Are under their control. They’re echoed abroad [/They record abroad?], [Telepathy?] They’re echoed abroad [/They record abroad?], [Telepathy?] When you’re dreamin’ my baby, You don’t know that they’ve put The needles in your [muscles?]. When you’re sleeping’, When you’re sleepin’, When you’re sleepin’, Oh, when you’re sleepin’. White clothes, big glasses, plastic gloves. White clothes, big glasses, plastic gloves. Oh, my sweet baby, You’ve been sleepin’ for days. You’ve been sleepin’... [Sounds like the singer is not a native English speaker, so it's a little hard to figure out some of the lyrics.]

"liitle screen" and "little snare"? Even before I was clever enough to click on OP's channel it sounded like an Italian accent to me.

@@TheBaylanscroftSignal Hmm... I'm trying to hear the "snare", but it still sounds more like "name" to me (IMHO, it also make more sense, but of course, this is just a personal interpretation). But, if the word before really is "little" (which is quite possible), then it wouldn't make much sense, obviously... I'll put both (with some room for a third option). As for the accent, I think Italian is a very good guess (although, I wouldn't say that the OP being Italian, and posting Italian music, would be the most reliable hint for determining the song's origin; after all, we already know of an English-Italian unknown song posted by a German). Any ideas for that repeating missing line in the third stanza (that I can't even make a guess about)...?

@@LostMusicColdCase Sometimes I hear "stain", but I'm sure about neither of them. The repeating line could be "they record it for/from" or "record abroad" plus a (totally botched) "telepathy". Which would at least fit into an early eighties dystopian laboratory setup. If I had heard the Italian accent only after clicking OPs profile, I would have kept quiet about it. But maybe we should also consider France. Not least because the song is spreading that certain Cold Wave aura. Yet to be fair, I once heard an Italian accent in the following song, which in the end turned out to be Latvian... kzbin.info/www/bejne/noa1nK13rJemfa8

@@TheBaylanscroftSignal I was actually thinking for a while whether it would be "record abroad" or "echoed abroad", but I decided to go with the latter, in the end. I guess it just made a little more sense, to me personally (well, the meaning would be almost the same, but I guess I'd expect that if it was "record", the proper sentence would be "record _from_ abroad", but I assume that "from" is not necessary). And, for a moment, I thought it might also be "They write code abroad" (which, I guess, would also make sense, but after "thought" in the previous line, it's not my first choice). And, I also thought about "telepathy", but at the same time thought it's a bit of a reach (on the other hand, they are literally pronouncing the "e" sound in "clothes", and a "k" sound in "muscles", or at least it sounds like that to me, so this wouldn't be too unlikely). Well, it does make quite a lot of sense, definitely. France was my first thought, actually. But, from what I've heard from French singers, their English seemed a little better than this. The pronunciation of that (possibly) "telepathy" sounded French to me, at first, and so did the way he pronounces "control", for example (although, I'm really not an expert in accents, obviously).

"You don’t they’re watching you," possibly could be "you don't know they watching you"
