Try different approaches until you get to the Settings. Getting there varies from phone to phone - and especially depending on the keyboard layout. But once you get to the settings, you pretty much have it sorted out.

This actually works, if you have the cannot connect screen just press the back key on pad and there will be option to go to the next screen

Didn't work for my phone, still took me to the sign in screen after turning off router.

When I restarted my phone it just prompted me with the Welcome screen again. I cleared my data on the Setup Wizards, Google Play Services, and Google Account Services. After restarting after that and following the steps on a verified website, it gave me the couldn't sign in. I followed the steps in your video though not to a T. I had to delete the Setup wizard a different way. I'm trying to unlock a Cricket LG Stylo 3. Please Assist me.

On the Samsung Galaxy S9, the next button at the "Couldn't Sign In" screen has been removed. They found this exploit and "fixed" it, so this hack won't work on newer Samsung phones. Sigh.
