Solved: Windows 10 shows NO INTERNET ACCESS but internet is WORKING. Let's fix this error!

On my dell this did not fix the icon issue! It still shows no internet but my internet is working fine as you showed in the video. It is the same issue on both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz Wifi. Any idea why it would be?

found a solution: My Registry Parameter EnableActiveProbing was already =1 before changing anything. As mentioned in the video changing all the other DNS config with Parameter "EnableActiveProbing=1" did NOT work on my Laptop. However, just changing the value on EnableActiveProbing to=0 resolved my issue. Did not have to change any other DNS configs. This is the video help me to troubleshoot in the Registry hence a thumps up for that...

Thnaks to this video I just try changing my dns in the network adapter property, i used google dns "8.8.8.8" and worked just fine, no need to change anything in the win registry

I tried your method. It didn't work for my Dell laptop. Then I tried many other methods. They didn't work either. Finally I found out a way myself combining two methods taught from tutorials and managed to fix error. Now the icon says Connected, secured. I'm so happy.

@@martymaNL It was rather simple. I did as follow: first I disabled the adaptor for Ethernet on my laptop ( remember it's laptop not PC); then I uninstalled the driver for wifi adaptor. I restarted my laptop and the error was fixed. It was efficient for my Dell laptop. I'm not sure if it would be efficient on other types of laptop or computer. I read many tutorials but no one talked about disabling the Ethernet adaptor.

So in a nutshell: download the driver separately, remove the existing integrated network adapter and install it with the downloaded one, or did you let Windows replace the driver As I read it, just remove it and after restart Windows will find the adapter again and reinstall its own driver?

To get a little more clarity in your problem, could you be more specific? The million dollar question: Do you have no internet at all or do you have internet but the icon says no internet? Thats very importent!

Click Manage Wi-Fi settings. Under Manage known networks, click the network you want to delete. Now click Forget. The wireless network profile is deleted.
