I presume you probably wouldn't want to climb any building you're unfamiliar with, lest you get trapped up there and surrounded with no path down, so stuff this intricate would probably be reserved for area's he's climbed before. But I image being able to vault over chest high walls and fences would be hugely useful for running from anyone, even animals.
