Because it's precise, to the point, addresses common problems that teachers don't, and at least for me, if you are looking up how to do a subject, you are a lot more willing to learn the subject than you would be in class.

For me it’s being shown all the information and how they got each piece and what each piece means and so on. Most teachers don’t do that.

sciencepost how are you figuring this out like how do you one one is a decomposition problem, and one is synthesis?? How does that work.

I'd say they each have familiar components. Ex. Decomposition, will always start one reactant and break down into two or more.

How do you know what kind of reaction it is?
@Jason-tc8vi8 жыл бұрын
+Maddy Mae I see you posted this about a month ago but in case you are still wondering, or if anyone else has the same question, the way I understand is: double replacement = "ionic compound + ionic compound" single replacement = "ionic compound + single element" combustion = "Organic compound + O2" decomposition = "1 compound" synthesis/combination = I find this a bit trickier to see, but usually occurs when you have 2 elements that form 1 compound, or whenever the chemical reaction doesn't fall under the other 4 categories

hey, 5:10 you have MgCl2 + Li2O. I understand that metals have differing reactivity but I don't understand why magnesium is more attracted to oxygen than the chlorine that it's already bonded with. Do non metals have an activities list or a preference to certain metals that I can study? I hope I've communicated my question as this has been a major hiccup for me that needs to be resolved asap. Thanks
