Solving deflection problems (UCLA CEE 108 - Mechanics of Deformable Materials)

In this video, we review how to use the integration method to solve deflection problems. This method makes it possible to analytically calculate the distributed load, internal shear, internal moment, angle with respect to the horizontal axis, and lateral deflection for beams subjected to external distributed loads, shear forces, and moments.
