I've always thought that using test points for a quadratic inequality was a waste of time if you know which way it opens and understand what the graph looks like. For instance when solving x²-4

i say that test points works if you don't know what the graph looks like.

You are still here. You are a great teacher. You couldn't save me but you made my struggle with math much less severe and got me almost through Calc 2....That is pretty good for an Ape like me...I have never met you but have an intense love for you and what you do.

You are too kind! And don’t be so hard on yourself. Doing math well or less well is not the measure of a good person :)
