Temporal Scout 41 report: I have been watching as the chickens amassed in the greenhouse. Without a proper predator, they roamed freely and quickly overpopulated the enclosure. Jerry is a wonderful, natural solution to the problem. Ever hungry and laser-focused (almost to a fault), he is the organic link in the food chain needed for proper balance. I've also given Jerry some sweet berries, so he trusts me. He's communicated that he'd like a foxy lady for a friend if one can be procured. While the "pig in space" isn't a trained pigstronaut, he's been a very good sport about it all. I bring him and Yo-Yo carrots whenever possible. I am concerned about some of the chickens that have been nibbling on the leaves of our favorite hungry plant... they are starting to look a bit different. I may need to travel to the future and see how or if this affects their evolution as a species.

Hey Zed, you should build a contraption that occasionally splashes Jerry with an Invisibility Potion! It'd be so funny to see a leash attached to nothing, or floating chicken and feathers, and would freak out other Hermits.

The best way to solve the chicken problem is not make the target for chickens bigger, but to "deal" with the escapees xD But Jerry is loved *pat pat the Jerry* 🦊 And maybe add your deed as a memory? If you place hoppers under carpets beneath the entire area Jerry can reach, you can give him a fire aspect sword that cooks the chicken he kills, then the hoppers will pick up the chicken before he can drop the sword to eat the chicken himself.

I've built fox based contraptions before. I had a group of foxes pick up items for me and then have them bury the item in their den. In the fox den, I had berry bushes on farmland so the items go into hoppers. It worked great!
