I've owned my banjo cats for a few months and I'm not sure if there doing well. I own 4 of them in my 80 gallon tank along with my swordtails. I've got a couple inches of sand, then lava rocks and pond soil underneath. My banjos occasionally get the "Hikari sinking wafers for catfish" (picture of clown loach on the front) I think they also possibly could be eating small snails, baby neocaridinas, or baby swordtails. My females do look bloated however :( Should I try a different food you think?

They don't need feeding much so should be fine. Given they are really inactive they don't need as much nutrition. It is quite common for the more common banjo's, Bunocephalus to put on a lot of weight and it is rarely an issue for them.
