PGA is an American tour. LIV is an international tour that stated they want to bring top golf to the rest of the world. LIV should move 2 of the tournaments that are played in America and (1) move 1 to South Africa (maybe at Sun City) and (2) move the other one to either China or Japan.

I would like to thank Jerry - yesterday I started a twitter exchange with two followers John Conran and Big Boy Pants as both had views on rankings -- BBG has had previous exchanges with TUGR and John has his own ranking which has received a lot of recognition from the twitter community -- With BBG living in Vegas and John in Australia - the tweet exchanges did go on for several hours I woke up in the UK earlier this morning with several notifications many from other Twitter users who got involved -- Jerry responded too some tweets - and obviously littered his timeline ( and Su-Ann) -- what I will say is many of the people who contributed just like Golf -- not just Liv Golf -- although I think everyone agrees the current OWGR system is biased for the PGAT and impacts other golfers on all tours outside the PGAT -- thanks again

Owgr was started by Mark McCormack thats right the founder of IMG. It was designed to promote golf and build superstars for marketing purposes. Its how they grew the game in the early 80’s. Its still the same today it was never to find the true best players it was to find players that they could market the best. Professional Golf is a business first never forget that.

Here's the trick to beating jet lag quicker: As soon as you get in the plane, change your watch and clocks on your phones and computers manually to the clock of your destination, and act as if the time in the plane is already there. Then, as the time progresses, do what you would normally do and go to sleep as close to when you do at home, and wake up as close to the time you normally do at home - and PLAN your day before getting in the plane as close to that as you can. And once you land, continue as normal, don't nap! Go do things! And then sleep as normal as you can (unless you landed at 2am or something lol), and that should help you adjust quicker

The Majors should just invite the top 20 on LIV (excluding the ones with exemption) and that should be acceptable for LIV fans (and LIV golfers) and there wouldn't be this much hate towards the PGA tour...

Datagolf and TUGR have different methodologies and they're both very similar. It shows there are multiple ways to rank players and you'll get similar results. OWGR is obsolete and I think Phil is right. The reason they can't change it is because they have TV contracts that rely on showing X number of top players. And they can't satisfy their contracts if they include LIV in their rankings.

Liv should create a ranking system within their tour where the majors takes the top 15 ranked players from Liv into their majors. This would make the “invitation” black and white based purely on performance ranking. They could make exceptions and select 3 players outside the top ranking that might have won on the other world tours but not ranked in the Liv tour.

They just need to go by the LIV standings. Probably the fairest way is the top 15 on the 2023 standings for the 2024 majors. Some will be exempt already but anyone who isn't gets in...

I have 2 questions: 1) Am I the only one who thinks Jon Rahm's short backswing got even faster this year...and if so, can that maybe be why he's not so precise this year? 2) I think Bryson made a mistake in playing with the new Irons in the Masters, and he has not had the same results with the new Irons...what is your opinion on that?

Great talk with the TUGR Guy. Great question on Meronk. I’ll take brooks over rahm right now. But it’s a coin flip. IMO they don’t necessarily have to buy the courses. Instead partnerships between teams and host courses. At least for now. Blushing with this hall pass talk.

The OWGR changed its calculations a few years ago, that in effective gave a 50% boost to PGAT events v all other golf tours..its a totally corrupt organisation

The OWGR system rankings have lost all credibility. The arrogant clowns that run that irrelevant, outdated ranking system need to start showing golf fans some respect, because at the moment they have none.
