Next year it's gonna be "how the acquisition of Christian Wilkins got Maxx Crosby DPOY." & yeah it should'a been Watt this season. If there's no $ in it not that big of a deal, but what's the point of getting anything _wrong?_ It makes people mad for no reason. Had they given it to him I don't think a single Browns fan would have been able to say Garrett was wronged. Seriously though, Mahomes is gonna have to resort to trick plays a whole lot more this coming season.

@@thepocketpasser I'm going more with how big an impact An Individual can make. Remember how someone calculated how much worse the Steelers were during the games T.J. Watt missed in '22 due to an injury? So one additional pass-rusher doubles the tasks of the o-line by himself. Of course it would be better to have a solid line - _against the run!_ But if you can't have everything, have a difference-maker. They have two. Does any other team have that? Look how big an impact Jalen Carter had when he played. No one else has two such players on their d-line. Even if o-lines compensate *for them* it means someone else will go unblocked.

@@thepocketpasser he makes a legit point, look at all the all-pros Garrett lined up over last year, while still posting a 30% double team rate but yet still led the NFL in time to pressure (credited with causing 6 interceptions) While in the mean time Watt literally lined up over scrubs (a back up or rookie in all but 5 games last year) while only being double teamed at 14% and still didn't even crack the top 10 in time to pressure. I think Myles Garrett is better for the same reason that Lamar is better than Josh Allen. Myles Garrett just seems to be more destructive in terms of messing up teams. T.J watt just doesn't get the same amount of attention that Myles Garrett does and I think that's really why his stats are better. For what ever reason people never take into account who each player lines up over, for example Garrett lined up over Trent Williams, Laremy Tunsil, Orlando Brown (twice), Ronnie Stanley (twice), DJ Humphries and on top of that still led the league in Double teams for most of the season. And yet still led the league in time to pressure, which led him to a league high credited 6 forced interceptions. When you look at Watt the best player he lined up over was a Rookie Backup playing injured (Dewand Jones). And he also logged 23 blitzes and almost 200 more snaps

@@markhenry2558 Plenty of things 1. Myles Garrett was not the most doubled in the nfl. Defensive Tackles get doubled always over 50% of the time. 2. Ronnie Stanley missed a game against the browns and Myles Garrett missed a game against the bengals. So he faced Stanley once when facing an injury and faced Orlando Brown once 3. Also Orlando Brown, Ronnie Stanley and DJ Humphries were not that good last year so I don’t know why you would think that is a flex. 4. Brother tj sucks and if it wasn’t for Alex highsmith he would have like 5 sacks a year. Tj literally only got 1 sack that wasn’t a 1 on 1 this season and every single sack came 6 seconds into the play. Myles disrupts every play in under 2.5 seconds which is something tj simply can’t do alone. Nothing you say can make up for the fact that tj only eats when the other side of the Dline is dominating he doesn’t lead the charge he plays clean up and that’s the difference between him and Myles. Myles is leaps and bounds better than tj at every level of the game
