Something a lot of people are missing here is how humanoid robots could scale FAR faster than anything we have ever seen in the manufactured world: humanoid robots making humanoid robots. As soon as this happens, they will start multiplying like bacteria in Petri dish. They will be limited only by the raw materials they have access to. 2 robots make 4 robots which make 8 robots… then consider that around this same time, super intelligent machines will help improve the design to make them even better and even easier to manufacture. A robot population explosion will run out of space, and a portion of the robots will be tasked with building a new manufacturing building that will make giga Texas look like a match box. With a bigger Petri dish and access to enough materials the population will keep exploding. It will be a phenomenon like nothing the world has ever seen, and no one sees this coming. Consider that if the factory is running on solar, and the robots are making all the robots, then you have zero labour cost and zero energy cost- so these machines will basically just be the cost of the raw materials. Unless robots start producing the raw materials by working in mines. You get the picture. The cost could drop so low, it boggles the mind. Just let that percolate for a bit and then tell me what Tesla’s market cap will be in 2030. ✨

If optimus works as it's intended to, a group of them in a factory can self duplicate themselves within a short time. They will be like viruses, so 10x production every year is easy. If every optimus builds one new optimus per month (super slow) and all new optimuses are put back into working the production line, that's 2^12=4096x per year. It's actually the materials and new factories needed that become the bottlenecks.

Impressive video coverage in a market where even giants like Tesla show volatility, it's wise to keep an eye on all opportunities. While we dissect big tech movements, remember, diversification is key. Crypto trading, with its unique landscape, offers a different rhythm compared to traditional stocks. It's not just about riding the big waves; sometimes, the subtle currents in crypto can lead to interesting outcomes. In times like these, where unpredictability reigns, keeping an open mind to all markets, including crypto, is a smart strategy...managed to grow a nest egg of around 117k to a decent 532k in the space of a nine weeks... I'm especially grateful to Sandy Barclays, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape....

6:09 from the way 13.2.2 drives, it does not appear intelligent to me, but seems more like a huge entangled bundle of reflexes that mimic good driving in many ways. From having watched it improve over the last nine months, I am pretty sure Tesla is on a track that will result in a product that will drive everywhere better than most of us bags of mostly water, but on the frayed edges of the trained-for domain it is clear that what drives the car is reflex, not thought. So far.

Can anyone explain to me, if robotics are doing most jobs, how we would generate income, why we would need to even have money, and therefore why any stock would be valued at any price?
@troelsvestergaard66449 сағат бұрын
ChatGPT: 1. If robotics do most jobs, how would we generate income? • New roles and industries: History shows that technological advancements often eliminate certain jobs but create new ones. While robots might replace repetitive, manual, or highly specialized tasks, humans might focus on creative, strategic, or interpersonal roles. • Universal Basic Income (UBI): In a world where robots dominate the workforce, many economists and futurists propose UBI as a solution. Governments or corporations could redistribute the wealth generated by robotic productivity to provide citizens with a basic income. • Ownership of capital: If robotics replace jobs, the profits from their work would flow to whoever owns the robots. Income generation would increasingly rely on capital ownership rather than labor. 2. Why would we need money in such a scenario? • Money is a tool for facilitating trade and assigning value to goods and services. Even in a highly automated world, there would still be resources (e.g., land, energy, raw materials) and human-driven services (e.g., art, entertainment, innovation) that require valuation and exchange. • However, if abundance becomes extreme (i.e., all basic needs are automated and freely available), the need for money might diminish. In such a scenario, the economy could shift to a post-scarcity model, where access to resources is universal and free, reducing the reliance on traditional monetary systems. 3. Why would any stock be valued at any price? • Stocks represent ownership in a company. In an automated economy, companies utilizing robotics would still generate value by producing goods, services, or innovations. Their profitability would drive stock prices. • The value of stocks would reflect the efficiency and scalability of these companies. Investors would compete to own shares in the most innovative or productive firms, maintaining stock market activity. • If automation leads to monopolization (e.g., a few firms own most robotics), these firms could become extremely valuable, concentrating stock market value in fewer entities. Additional Considerations: • Inequality: The benefits of robotics might not be evenly distributed. Without appropriate policies, wealth could concentrate among those who control the robots, leading to societal challenges. • Redefining value: In a robotic-dominated economy, value might shift from traditional goods and services to things like experiences, human creativity, or unique craftsmanship, which robots cannot replicate. • Cultural evolution: The purpose of work and the concept of wealth might transform. Societies may redefine success, fulfillment, and progress beyond financial metrics. Conclusion: Robotics could disrupt traditional income generation and economic systems, but societies would adapt by redistributing wealth, redefining the role of money, and finding new ways to assign value to human contributions. Stocks would still hold value as long as companies generate profit or innovate, but the structure of the economy and society might change dramatically.

Elon Musk should decree that no more than five robots can be owned by any one person or any one company ,that way the individuals that buy the robots could have them go to work in their place and collect their wages so that the entire world economy does not collapse because Virtually no one will have a job when robots are doing all the work. Tesla will still Sell the robots and have all the profits of The Manufacturing of robots And all of the money in the world will not be concentrated Into the hands of just a few Wealthy individuals or corporations that replace everyone who has been working To build The Civilization. That got humans to the point of being able to build robots.

“Consumer Market for BOT is bigger than Industrial Market” Elon (kinda) How can it be priced at Commercial Value ($1000 pcm) and also access the Domestic Market - it CANNOT .there is NO feature distinction opportunity. Serial price reduction ?…… A bit . It’s a huge Productisation challenge . It can only be priced at “Middleton” to start and decrease rapidly from there. What Feature can ONLY be available to Commercial applications but NOT be available to Consumers ? 2 Legs 😂

If having a bot is a no brainer and Tesla can’t make them fast enough they’ll put the price high on the bot and the software fees so only wealthier people can afford them. If it remains a no brainer for wealthy people because they can put them to work for profit they’ll just keep ordering more of them and monopolise the market. For that reason it’s unlikely everyone will have their own.
