Solway Sharks 'Hurl a Hug' visit to DGRI Children's Ward, 2022

Members of The Solway Sharks Ice Hockey Club recently paid a visit to the Children's Ward at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, bring some Christmas cheer to the young patients.
The Sharks had brought along over 200 toys donated through the Hurl A Hug initiative. At the Sharks' last game of the season, against Billingham Stars, spectators brought along donations of more than 200 stuffed toys and threw them onto the ice for collection.
The donations lifted spirits and have brought smiles to many children's faces, as seen in this video, with massive thanks to Solway Sharks and Billingham Stars.
