Ten years of random grand mal seziures that started at age 35; diagnosed with epilepsy, medicated yet still had seizures. I met with so many specialists. Finally met with a cardiologist who induced a tilt table test in which a seizure was induced within five minutes. Diagnosed with "vasovagal syncope" and low blood pressure -- I took a salt tablet daily to increase my BP; gained about 20 pounds that increased my BP; and intentional hydration -- no seizures. Life changing! I'm convinced my seizures happened when I was overheated, under-hydrated due to low BP.

So many people who have syncope and doctors can't make out what it was. Surprising.

Seizure meds cause seizures. They need to be tapered off very very slowly and safely!

Wow I think I’ve been through similar first seizure were happening in my sleep. But my necks bothered for years at that point, always ignored by health services…. Now I’m having them while awake like syncopal type… All on that lacosami de sodium channel blocker type medicine…. Would make it worse I assume no one cares I even may have had hydrocephalus severe got steroids and weeks later I was feeling better some way after years of mess. Immense inner head pressure…now I feel syncopal right before many recent seizures then fall convulse, but not a very spontaneous recover that’s remembered by me. I’ve been told Ive walked right out to the ambulance and not remember that, after seizures occur.

How about throwing up, then syncope with two following convulsions. I also somehow fractured t5 and t12. I am healthy, no booze, no smokes I eat right and never had any issues. Just over 50 years old. I had one 60 second syncope several months before from it I woke up quick. I felt the syncope coming. The seizures I don't remember anything from it, I apparently got up from bed had a bath, then threw up really badly and then had a seizure while laying on my bed and then the ambulance came and got me and when I was at hospital they said I had another grand mal and became violent after. I cannot remember 24 to 36 hours of time. I have no other biological issues that I know of. I did get sodium azide in my eyes from a home covid test about 14 hours before this and forgot to rinse it out. The symptoms to poisoning of sodium azide are the same as seizures?
