Somali Bantu Community Association find farmland

In June of 2020, the Somali Bantu Community Association toured a prospective 106-acre organic farm in Wales, Maine as part of their journey to find a permanent home for their organization and land security for over 210 families who participate in the SBCA's Liberation Farms program.
The initial funds necessary to secure this land were raised and the land was acquired.

Unbelievable transformation. I remember reading news of Somalis flocking to Maine, a poor American state, and scaring the hell out of the White Americans who said they were overwhelmed by the huge refugee influx. Now, it seems Somalis have settled well and the Bantu community is thriving in American -- they have found freedom, of which they were deprived back in Somalia. Bless you Maine people for you showed great patience to help our community.

What does it mean to look Bantu? Bantu is a linguistic group not a race or ethnicity. Many many different ethnicities speak Bantu languages. Isn't it enough that they are human beings?
