I’m a little confused between direct and indirect. It looked they both formed callus in the photo.

In direct organogenesis, tissue does not form callus rather it directly starts to produce organs like shoot, depending upon the hormone. In indirect, first an unorganized mass of cells called callus is formed. Then by changing hormonal composition, organogensis occur. Refer more pictures of callus and direct organogenesis for clarity.
