I have never broke down in tears from yoga in my life. It was very strange to me at first but once it came out I felt different. Thoughts came to mind and I let them come through and present themselves to be dealt with instead of ignored or squashed as I have done for years. Thank you Brett. I will be continuing these for a while as I think its time for me to address these healing practices.

LOVED THIS! I did this work out after your Hatha yoga for beginners video, which I've done a few times but this was the first time I added this one and I found myself unexpectedly emotional when doing the flicks! Could i lose weight with this exercise?. I tried so many type of exercise, watch my diet but i'm still gaining weight instead of losing. Since my anxiety is up the roof, at this point i simply need an exercise that is light-hearted yet effective.

I do a lot of her videos & when she isn’t instructing to sigh or do a specific breath I usually do slow mindful breathes making sure not to hold my breath

I breathe, however, feels comfortable for me and don’t prioritize breathing through the nose like I do in traditional yoga. However, for punches I’d always punch out or down on an exhalation. And I tried to queue this as well in the video. Thank you so much for practicing with me and come back to this routine often. ♥
