I absolutely LOVE this Sombra rework. Her playstyle fits the lore perfectly now! The way she carefully plans her next move while watching the enemies, then waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike and getting an important kill with ease, is how she should have been played since day one! Not her "oh shit I gotta get out if my plan doesnt work". Sombra wouldnt play like that, Sombra knows that her plan will work!

One thing I do that I learned from tf2 is to cause paranoia to the enemy, having them more focused on you than paying attention. Ik before u could still cause that but it’s more easier and more doable in the rework

since supports are so overtuned in this game, i found myself having to hack a target, then virus as a combo for the best chance at securing a kill before a support steps in to save a teammate. cooldowns are generally pretty quick and you can get a good rythym with the cooldowns so you have the combo on every engagements. Nice vid fitz!

It's better to virus first instead of hack when you're up against something without cooldowns, ana no nade, soldier no healing field. That way you have a higher chance they can't react

Yes! If your target gets healed, your combo will be useless af. But if you wait for the perfect opportunity, you will get a kill without any big trouble. THIS is how Sombra is portrayed in the lore and it fits perfectly. Carefully planning her move, isolating the target and then aggresively going in to secure the kill. After the job is done, going into the shadows again. I love the rework so much!

Skill issue supports are overtuned. The rework somber actually is easier to deal with as a support now that she doesn’t have free jail out free card she actually has to commit to a kill or be punished for it

@@Seyanoo(I agree that supports are overturned, but…) not really. Now, you take the damage from virus and you can’t do anything about it. Even if you aim well and kill her, you’ll die too. Before, if you hit a few good shots she would TP out- meaning that while she was still alive since she TPd, you would be alive too. Now you can’t do anything against it if you are alone no matter how good you are. I prefer playing as and against old Sombra much more

Why doesn't he hack before throwing Virus? It drops their health bar twice as fast, and does 10 more burst damage on contact. It's a no brainer.

They can react to the hack sound and start evading. Sometimes it isn't even worth hacking the target. Hitting the Virus and getting a few accurate shots into them will often give you more value than going for the hack first.

@@lf2334 What you decide to do really depends on the situation. If the enemy is alone or if they're a support, going for the hack first can be good. If they're close to their team, just going for Virus first may be the better play.
