Answer for ques 1(1) : No of moles of N2 = 5/28 => 0.17 No of moles of H2 = 10/2 => 5 Now, LR of N2 = 0.17/1 => 0.17 LR OF H2 = 5/3 => 1.66 So , the limiting reagent(LR) is 0.17 which is N2. Answer for ques 1 (2) : Considering N2 as LR, 1 mole of N2 ------> 2 mole of NH3 0.17 mole of N2 -----> ? mole of NH3 Now, = 0.17 * 2 / 1 = 0.34 moles of NH3 If asked to convert into mass, No of moles = mass / molecular mass 0.34 = mass / 17 mass = 0.34 * 17 ===> 5.78 g Answer of 2 (3) : mass = 0.02 * 40 ==> 0.8g
