This is why I love this channel. The past few song videos have included this jazz solo, an indie/rock tune, a blues classic, and some 70s rock. I will be a subscriber and patreon for as long as Adrian keeps this channel going.

Thanks so much for doing this! Kenny is one of my favorites. I listened to Midnight Blue every morning on my commute for a solid year. Not sure why I’ve never attempted to learn any of the tunes, but now I have no excuse! His work on Stanley Turrentine’s Hustlin’ record is another favorite.

Hi, first time watching your channel. You have a good grasp on this piece. I believe Kenny B. never wrote it out. This was the first real piece i tried to play on guitar. Had to tdo it by ear. I like your take , it's very correct. My take didn't have the strumming in the a section, i swept the upper strings and omitted the touch with the pinky finger. I played it finger style back then. Very glad to have bumped into this video, now i have the right version !!! THANKS for that !!!!

Not sure why...but it seems anything you play on your JM sound the best. That's not a dis on the others, just that all your JM tracks largely stand out from an outstanding collection of tracks. Perhaps there's a special affinity with this guitar, above all your others? Such sweet tones here Adrian. 😎👍
