Darn. From when I first came across you guys back in highschool, like, a decade ago at this point, so much has changed between then. It's a little mind boggling! You guys have always been a favourite of mine, and this just makes me more excited for the future. Very interested in things for sure, especially that Old World narrative campaign! So keep up the good work MWG!

Lol from retail , to retail with videos, to videos with a tiny bit of retail, to videos and significant retail. Fun evolution of MWG

I love narrative games or cooperative games. Working with a team to overcome obstacles or enemies thrown at us.

Narrative missions are the best. Although my group’s favorite thing to do is get 3-4 of us and come up with a custom mission

I will definitely be loading up on cobblestone and scrap bases when they go print on demand.

The Heresy event at your gaming hall last September was a hobby highlight for me. Was really an experience to play there!

Amazing update as usual, great to see so much going on--and the level of enthusiasm! Will be sad to see the hall go but I can't wait to see what form that space takes.

I am currently running a campaign using the OPR rule set. It is truly a blast to fight armies with steadily increasing potential. We have such a good time, this has replaced DnD for our roleplay!

Those old world tokens would be good for spell lores, could be used to keep track of which spells are cast on which unit.

When will the old world campaign start? You have been talking about it for 4 months now.

Path to Glory! Start with a small force and add to it after every game until you build a full 2k point army as you tell a story. Those have always been my favorites.

Are those bases designed for FDM printing? I have a bunch of bases but they all seem meant for Resin printing and I only have an FDM printer.

23:15 get a Prusa XL 5 toolhead. It might be better for multicolor and far less waste. Bit pricey though.

I love narrative games. I prefer those and campaigns to just straight up fights. I am looking at building my own terrain and units for narrative play.

25:15 The top would be a combination of an RPG and Warhammer Fantasy, where you have a few players and a DM. The issue with Narrative games is that you end up with Key characters dying, results going very unexpected ways even if their are poitns handicapped, and while I love them for one off's or a mini campaign, I don't find them as fufilling any more. On the other hand, a campaign like 'Yogivr and Tor' was great as it was almost more like a PvE campaign. The characters could level up, and it was more about the degree of success rather than success or fail, and you could link a narrative together much more easily. That's why I tend to play RPGs more now. On that note if you have never checked out 'Lancer' before give it a try one evening. It's amazing. Play online though first with a DM who knows what they are doing.

I love narrative play... i think that's why i have been getting out of 40k and going to Necromunda more. They also tend to be the bat reps i enjoy watching more. Competitive play to me is boring.

Because my boys didnt pvp well all i did was narrative. From chaos horde mode through a portal trying to break through your lines. Too smashing into an enemy stronghold to rescue/steal/plant. Never balanced although things can be changed on the fly!

With how sour the competitive scene is with rules changes and meta chasing, I stick to casual/narrative all the way.

Im playing competitive because sadly around me it is the way the community play... i have the intent to create a narrative campaign with your Deathwatch rules for one of my friend and ill be the GM. Narrative play are just the best, so fun, relaxing even if it can be stressful but in the good way lol Im 40 yo, living close to Montreal city and as soon as i can, i'll go at the bunker playing a narrative game!
