After you finish coding if the CIC doesn't restart for the new changes to take effect, all you have to do is push the volume knob in & hold it until the unit restarts. It takes a little bit of time to restart so keep pushing it in until it does. Once it restarts your changes should be in place.

Hey man, thanks for the video, it was very helpful! Just as a heads-up, my TCU unit didn't have the BT logo on it, but, as it looked exactly as yours, I decided to give it a try. I don't have a coding profile, so I just used the Expertmode profile and it worked. I've already paired my phone and It's working perfectly. Thanks again!

I coded mine as soon as I found out. It was tricky getting the sos message to disappear. But I finally figured it out and works great. I believe if it’s built on or after 03/2004 it should work. Best way is to check the TCU label because it may be newer than the car itself. Mine was.

Mohamed Hussa if I remember correctly I added +TELD to the vehicle order in both the CAS and LMA modules and then recorded the CAS, CAPPL, KOMBI, TCUM modules to default settings. After which I went in and changed a few settings to restore all the cool little features that i programmed before. There were a few settings in the TCU module that I had to change in order for the SOS to go away. The reason the SOS came on in my car is because the BMW assist option was still installed, yet I didn’t have a subscription for it. If you are familiar with NCS Expert you can cross reference your settings to those found on the bmwcoding forums. You’ll have to do a google search to find the threads regarding this issue.

Mines didn’t have the Bluetooth symbol but looked identical to yours so I coded it anyway in the Bluetooth work my phone was set to Phone business and the phone didn’t work changed it to phone_Mulf and it started working without any problem. Thanks again Video and Information

Hey mate, hopefully you can help, I have an E66 2005. Used to have the phone in the dash but it’s been removed. My telematics module in the boot has the Bluetooth symbol. I followed your steps and added +K633 but I didn’t have $605 and $639 so I added them without error and enabled Bluetooth and Portable device. I can now see the car on my phone and I enter the correct pin but won’t connect. In your next steps I don’t have CIC or CCC so I’m not sure where to go from here. I imagine this is what is stopping me

Funny i did mine in 2004 well the dealer did .....how can i find the telephone number of my tcum module years ago i got a call from a regular person on it before i had the hqnds free activated, indid have the concierge active at that time though when it was free. Also i brought and installed your ADP2 bluetooth module love it , but how do i get the volume higher? It is significantly lower than mp3 cd or radio and phone media volume is turned up to max, also is there a way to have it auto connect and start to play like my other decks do in my other cars , i use auto car home from play store so it connects to tcu automatically but not the ADP2 module all the time i have to go to settings and repair it then press and start pandora, even if i was listening , stop run into store and come right back i have to press play on the phone again. Where would the Bluetooth show up on CCC units? I just went through the coding process and just like you it’s not showing up immediately. I’m going to check again tomorrow but I want to know what part of the CCC iDrive I need to looking in

It should be in your settings. When your at the menu. Just press down on the iDrive knob. It should show up in the settings if you do a little digging.

Hello guys, I bought a 2004 BMW 530D. It has I-drive and when I go to the bluetooth section it says it is activated but there is no tick in the box and it can't be ticked. My question is my bluetooth module (if it is the bluetooth module, it is in same place as this one on this video) has no bmw stickers on it, its just a metal box, also it only has 1 yellowish plug in the top and then a big plug in the bottom with a green and black wire next to it. Above the box it has the black connector with the green wires but thebox has no markings to aid getting a replacemement. any ideas?? please and thank you.

My e60 is late 2007 had a look for the TCU unit in the back and there's nothing at all not even brackets. I had a look on the other side of the boot there was only a very small silver box not the TCU. I live in Ireland are there any other locations in the car they put the TCU I can't seem to find anything online any help appreciated.

Jo shmo no e60 bluetooth are able to do music streaming, even with Coding it can’t. Only way is to update the system to a CIC with combox.

If you have Navigation you should be able to see CcC unless someone retrofitted it and didn’t code it properly and your seeing MASk

I have an E60 built 07/04. I checked the module and there are no stickers whatsoever on it. I figured I’d give it a go anyways, however I got an error while processing the ECU in the LMA module. Dang.

Even if its showing bluetooth activated on screen, actually any phone is not connecting to really early model e60. Mine is 2003.12 and after pairing no kind of phone is connecting to it anymore. P. S. Mine tcu has one sim slot from side and one more sim card slot deep inside tcu (accessible only when disassembled)

you still need help with them? Left+ = Black/Red Left- = Black/Purple Right+ = Black/White Right- = White/Purple So you tap into these wires going into the top of the factory amp with your RCA leads. You don't need an LOC converter because they're preamp lines. Be sure to only shave the wire, it still needs to be connected to the factory amp when you splice in the RCA.
