Where i come from, digital games on the PSN are always cheaper and wider variety. When you import games, the taxes bring up the price😅. In store purchase , you end paying more, even on a sale.

$10 games become $50 dollar games it's magic for Thanksgiving. Then in February they start coming down again.Usually in June july they reach the cheapest price. Then creep up a little till the end of October when they get jumped up again. If they had better games than the crud poo i keep seeing i wouldn't have anything to complain about. There are a dozenl that are pretty fun though.

Those 'sale' prices are crazy, even Nintendo eshop has better reductions(apart from Nintendo titles). The Console future is digital, and it costs next to nothing to send a game digitally. I wonder what year Consoles will be 99% digital like PC?

If silent hill 2 doesn’t go on sale, I’m all over that Alan Wake 2 deluxe edition as the regular game occasionally went to $50 on PSN. Hell, I will get it on Xbox if it’s still at that price & it doesn’t get that low on PlayStation. People just don’t realize how the market can be completely controlled by the publisher & platform if there is no direct competition. You give up lower prices for convenience with digital only & you don’t even own the damned game. We need to keep physicical media alive, imho.

I think you're wrong here. You shouldn't determine if a digital black Friday deal is worth it by an arbitrary metric like its brute price. Videogames don't exist in a vacuum, and as such not all videogames are worth the same. You should go by the percentage discounted to determine whether it's a good Black Friday deal. Imo, 60% or more off makes a good deal for coveted games that came out sometime over the last 2 years; at least 75% for games older than that, and 90% for most games that are 4 year old.

There isn’t anything wrong with him comparing the discounts from console to console because it all comes full circle. You should want to be informed on what competitive pricing looks like when so many games are playable across the same platform.
