@@reymysterio7412 not. A lot of coverage right now so best runs are mostly groomers but there’s fun stuff up on Casper lift right now. And the best resteraunt in the village is Teton Thai if you like Thai food. Corbets will probably be roped off right now cuz there’s not enough snow for it to be skiable... but yeah that thing wakes up in the morning caked with ice😂 before anyone has even hit it

It feels like a sheer face. When you see it, it’s surprising that snow can stay on it. Plus the rock faces and one at a time nature of it? Lotta pressure.

playing it in .25 slow motion is very heplful. what i notice the most is how he makes sure his shoulders are very square to the downhill, especially how he brings his left arm and shoulder forward and commits to that first turn then stays with arms far forward so his body follows.

After watching "Kings & Queens - The Evolution of Corbet’s Couloir"......and then watching this.....I conclude that this is the safest (and least awesome) way of skiing Corbet's Couloir.

This is the main way to do it. There is usually an slightly easier entry off to the left side, depending on conditions, but if you're truly doing Corbett's, you're generally dropping the "goat path" which is what you see here. If you're a boss you can drop the cliff, or the cliffs off to the right, but I doubt many people try that the first time they're up there!

That is actually the best line to tackle Corbets. The conditions may change but that line is always there for those who overcome their fear of the initial drop. The turn back is tricky to avoid the wall, but after that, Bob’s your uncle! I speak from experience. I was there. I made that descent. Granted, I woke up in a cold sweat from a really cool dream, but I know! If I ever have the opportunity to ski that exquisite couloir of love, I will proudly drop into that beautiful crevice of love and expertly worm my way through its tight and bent canal of contempt! I will make her mine!!! 🤠🤓😵💫🌚

It's generally considered to be one of the most difficult ski runs in the US. It's in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

When I skied Corbets back in the 70's, one was required to jump a good 15ft just to enter...it was fun, easy stuff.

That’s so easy. Just make sure the skis are adjusted to cope with ancillary height arcs as well as being suitably tapered with the correct edging salt. The wax on the outer edges need to have a 0.85 coefficient. Anything less will spell trouble.
