Fantastic news that there's a spiritual successor to the Carver One It always baffles me that automotive manufacturers haven't taken to mesh seating, which could save significant weight and several CMs of perceived space, which is a big thing in a small cabin, cool in summer too. Common in offices so hardwearing. Still - I will follow with interest, I was always gutted not to have had the opportunity to get the C1.

Fantastic. You are on the right track. The C1 concept is the smartest, most appropriate, fun, advanced vehicle since the wheel was invented. Keep the project on internal combustion. Because motorcycle battery is still ridiculous.

The carver one´s biggest problem was it´s hefty price. For it to be succesfull it should best be in the same pricerange as for instance a Fiat 500 Abarth. I don´t see why anyone should buy it if it cost´s 33k or more as the Carver one did, as it is probably to wide to be a true alternative for commuting with a motorcycle. Cool that you guy´s kept the carver one´s front end tho as the new e-Carver seems to have a more traditional scooter front fork.

By adding the extra eight inches you have given the co-pilot the room needed(and floor mounted battery pack)....Now if you can get a door like the Life Jet for the back seat you will have it all. Do the Aptera Solar skin charging and you are good adding the van body for delivery...The design is endlessly applicable for the general population not just the wealthy...

Your vehicle looks great, better than other trikes with this type of tilting mechanism. However, I hope it’s not too late to make it narrower (or add a narrow model). At over 1.5m wide two of these cannot share one lane and it’s too wide to cut through car traffic. One-meter width would do it if you’re interested in the urban vehicle market. Good luck!

Tremendous concept. I'm looking forward to following the development. As an industrial designer, I might make one aesthetic decision... lengthen the nose. It feels a bit truncated. Create a more shark-like point to the front. Extend the panel with the logo somewhere over the centerline of the wheel. Re-design the side panels match. Otherwise, superb work! This is the most exciting three-wheeler I've seen in a long time.

I wish the price is affordable in Malaysia and cheaper that Carver One. Have a multiple power source...on gasoline and ev as not many ev charging kiosk in my country.

It appears to have exhausts so, if it DOES have a gasoline engine, I will buy one but ONLY if it has a gasoline engine.

And yet, STILL 25 years out for production, just like the LIT Motors C-1....The Aptera has proof of concept Solar body panels but no chance of getting into full production....You three companies should merge and offer two cars and a bike....

Hi Nilo, with a single front steering wheel you're right. That's why we've implemented a rear wheel steering system to reduce the turning radius to 9.5m :)

Kerv pretends to have designed and invented the Carver One... giving no honor to Carver....how sad. But lets hope it is with a combustion engine and just as good and fast as the original Carver One.

If you WANT to fail, make it electric. That could be an option but ONLY an option. Hybrid technology is fine but it MUST have an internal combustion engine to succeed. There are too many of us who will not buy an all electric vehicle for the task, of which, we'd use this type of vehicle; long range touring. We want three wheels, enclosed cabin, LONG range and the ability to still lean into corners. Most people do NOT want this type of vehicle as a daily commuter (some do. Not most). We want a getaway car/bike hybrid that can truly get FAR away. Do not be foolish and limit your customer base with an all electric vehicle that requires charging (even with an extended range) for hours. Most people who want an all electric version are too stupid to fully understand the limitations of electric power, given the current technology, as well as the prohibitive costs. Electric is not there....yet. It WILL get there, just not yet. If you get this wrong, you WILL fail. Get it right and the market is there.

You are totally correct in your analysis. For a long time the internal combustion engine will be better than the electric one (in motorclycles) for the simple reason called “ battery”.
