Removing the junipers was a great plan. Love that you are not scared to make BIG foundational changes in your garden... the junipers were really going to get too unruly. The title of this video got me... I have recently gotten my partner into gardening, and they had visited a garden center and told me "have you ever heard of this plant called a black eyed Susan?! I have NEVER even heard of this plant before, and don't you think its name is... problematic?" I was on the floor sobbing as they are from east Texas, where the black eyed Susan is a common wildflower. When I explained that rudbeckia are named that because they have a dark center of the flower, they just said "I don't like that." So now I just point them out all the time.

DAAAANG! It is looking so great! What a labor of LOVE! I LOVE fountain grass! It gets BIG! I really miss MD and SEASONS! LOL I'm in Texas zone 9b now. It's hard to grow certain things. And the little cameos from the kids are the icing on the cake! Girl! Enjoy this time while they're small! Take SO MUCH personal video for you and you husband of them! Things you can look back on when they're grown. You WILL forget their teeny sweet voices unless you record them. Ours are just about grown now, but it seems like yesterday they were small.
