Hi, I love these old pics, Especially the railway photos ( I love them) it's hard to believe what Railways Dewsbury had! I move up ere 2005. Seen plenty change since but missed the Central Station in action. Keep those videos coming!!👍

So many pictures of the early buses (or Omnibuses as they were known in the 20's and 30's). I wonder if any of those images have captured a Reginald G Brinkley, who was born on 7th of Feb 1900. I did a census check for 1921 at the beginning of this year and discovered that he lived at my old address in Saviletown with his wife Ethel M Brinkley (born 12th October 1898), and his occupation was registered as an Omnibus driver. Perhaps one of those faces captured in the many pictures is his. I did some more digging and found that he died in Bradford at the age of 55 (in 1955) sometime between April and June that year. Great images of forgotten times and people.
