@J4KETODD Nope, it's not necessary, the audio is alot better than the GL1/2 anyway, trv audio is not like the VX audio but it's not bad, i'm saving up for a VX1000, the audio will be perfect :)

wow i have trv-900 and have had sony vx 1000 and gl1. this is the best set up imo. i have the screw on mk1 it is so god damn perfect, thank god for letting me have it. Live Forever!!!

if you want but it looks like an MKII on a VX2k and there's no vig. If you get the 37mm you'll have vig and the same width as the VX1000/MK1 setup.

Yeah, i used to. Even if the LCD is pretty huge, the viewfinder is still useful.

I don't know haha i mean, i just go ahead on a line on my cruiser board and i try to be the steadiest possible and yes the camera doesn't have an handle. Now i have a VX and i can tell it's pretty much the same camera the handle is not that necessary.

@thakidjeremy This was color corrected, i don't do that anymore. When you say try to use the full screen, if you talk about scaling 4:3 to 16:9 this is a terrible idea. And i'm not gonna buy a shot gun mic because i have a VX1000 now :)

I used to have an Opteka lens. Even if the glass quality is not as good you won't see any differences and anyway, for some reason the Century lens has some blurry vignetting on the trv900... so go for the Opteka all the way!

hey im thinking about getting one of these trv900 but im not sure which brand of baby death lens to get. i know century optics is meant to have the best glass but im leaning towards opteka because of the price. if you could tell me what brand you use it would help me a lot.=)
