I have many of those fantasy covers ..very nice and well made. I found my first butcher at a garage sale in 1982 mono for $10 and had a first state also around 85 for $250..now they are worth much more. Maybe they will do a US Albums Box set vol 2 and include Capitols LPs from 65 & 66..

Books! Books!! Book to check out, cheaper for Americans than Brits, features a lot of Norman Parkinson work, whose own books are OOP & expensive: BEATLEMANIA: 4 PHOTOGRAPHERS . All b/w, circa 1963-66. Not much text. The photographs, all about the group not the fans despite the title, make the book a time machine. Magazines! Dutch magazine *FURORE* published once or twice a year, been around since 1975, has 3 magnificent Beatles issues in English, superb photographic layout & original research. Most issues are all in Dutch, but 3 Beatles issues are mostly English. But postage makes FURORE expensive for Americans, but terrific quality.

Harry I was there in 64 when Beatlemania struck. It was scary believe me. At the North American premier of A Hard Day's Night in 64 in Montreal I saw pubescent girls screaming, crying, tearing their hair out and scratching their faces. I looked for the closest exit and wondered if pandemonium erupted if I could make it to that door. I was doubtful. LOL .... Yeah your a Beatle nut. Nice stuff though... Oddball Beatles stuff? I have quite a few Beatles 45s and albums but the one that might be considered odd ball I see is listed on EBay for $244.62. It's the Canadian 1978 Marble Sgt Peppers album. Wow I didn't know it was worth that much. I also have a Beatles water glass from the 60s that was VCLT from a VC member Robert Harrison. My younger brother scored a peeled Butcher cover at a yard sale 5 years ago for a buck and sold it. Don't know what he got though. Cheers.

Hey Harry !!! I have a few copies of the debut Vee-Jay release and still not sure which I have as I forgot I need to label them. Those are cool I like to find the other Vee-Jay pressings. These are all great Harry love seeing them !!!

Beatles name has to be above the spindle hole with the title for it to be legit for the Vee Jay titles. The Beatles name below the spindle hole is fake.
