Great music and such beaut machines! 😍. I so miss the variety of manufacturers and engineering solutions of the 70’s and 80’s. Everything looks the same now, is the same now.

We were so blessed to have grown up in the 60's to the 80's, such innovation, so many bikes, so much freedom, it was the best, Small companies like FMF or Wiseco pistons. Pro Circuit. the list goes on and on. What a FUN time, that kind of freedom is gone for ever I am afraid.

After watching this I had to go out to my shop and uncover my 72 Bultaco Pursang 125, and just admire it over a cup of coffee.

Thanks for the program. All beutiful. I have a few of them. Great fun to ride. Not as fast as today's bikes but more forgiving. And a better sound. Nearly always a crowd round them when I park up. But parts are getting hard to find and expensive

@rogeeeferrari , KTM from the 70's had the power. Have friends that raced them in the 70's.

This is how dirt bikes looked when I was young. My cousin raced Maicos & Ossas. I rode a friend's Bultaco 360 once & sprayed dirt everywhere while I just tried to hang on & not crash. Dirt bikes today just look weird. I know people don't buy them for looks but I don't look at them & think "Wow I want to ride that!" Beside, my inseam isn't 37".

Rather misleading title, not a KTM, Husky, or Penton to be seen. No Japanese bikes either. What's up with all the motocross bikes being tossed in? Big collection here of mostly bikes that never made it to the US. This omits several Classic enduro bikes from the era that we rode, raced and won on.

Really!... Seeing "European" in the title I expected to see Bultaco, Montesa, Ossa, Aermacchi, Jawa, CZ, Greeves, Triumph, BSA etc...what is THIS crap?

Americans weren't the best Back then. The Gdr made the best Bikes. Brands like Simson and MZ won nearly every Competition. If you don't trust me just search for Silvervase. :)
